And you can write about it.. <grin>

Re: KillerStartups Killed?

KillerStartups isn't the same as it was before. It's just a site people use to spam their new crappy startups now. You will hardly ever find anything quality - it'll most likely be buried somewhere within all the crappy sites that are submitted daily..

Re: KillerStartups Killed?

Well, good luck to you Amous. I just brought that up because we're both directly measured, so no
guessing here. Also, if we could get an everyday home page mention in
Techcrunch surely would help ;)
On the other hand David, thanks to your post about KillerStartups I got to
discover your interesting blog.

Re: KillerStartups Killed?

I did miss that, I'm not familiar with Quantcast but it appears that it may
be the most accurate since all the listed items are directly measured. I
hope you'll pardon my incomplete research and I'll adjust the story after I
dig a little deeper into what all those graphs claim they are showing.
Congratualtions on pulling out of that slump!

Re: KillerStartups Killed?

Interesting. The only thing I wanted to add is that I always felt that KillerStarups was more of a blog about startps while the others are better used as rather comprehensive directories. So this may partly explain why KS seems to be on decline, I believe.

Re: KillerStartups Killed?

You should check their status in compete.com too.

http://siteanalytics.compete.com/killerstartups...

The situation is quite sad, and I am sad too, since we got profiled at killerstartups and at the very beginning got some nice traffic and buzz from them.

But tradevibes is picking up, and since they now have a deal with ReadWriteWeb the competition might be interesting. Maybe Zemanta should include the ability to choose your favorite provider of specific links. But CB definitely nailed it with the API...

Andraz Tori, Zemanta
